Looking back, I guess he meant well, but it wasn't exactly the pep talk I needed. Yet, if you know me, you know there's nothing I enjoy more than proving someone wrong when they underestimate me. Perhaps it traces back to a pivotal tennis match in the 6th grade, but that's a tale for another time.
Fast forward five years, and here we still stand proudly at 25 Main St. We weathered the move (followed by the whirlwind of purchasing a house and relocating our personal belongings just two weeks later), braved a global pandemic, navigated through recession and exorbitant inflation, and tackled a slew of other unexpected obstacles. Yet, from where I stand, everything remains as good as ever. So, here's a nod of gratitude to that acquaintance at the bar, for igniting the flames of determination within us to succeed against all odds.

I can honestly say “ditto” to Bruce’s comment. Your store, dinner and drinks at Cafe Roka and gelato are always the first 3 items on our list of things to do in wonderful Bisbee. I’ve been a customer of yours since your first location, an old morgue I believe? Love your location now since we usually stay at the Letson and it is just across the street. When we can’t get to Bisbee I order online, so easy. Congrats on your 5 years at this location!
